You need:
2 kg blackcurrant berries
1/2 kg granulated sugar
25 g gelling agent
- Clean the berries
- Boil the berries as soft (about 5 minutes)
- Add sugar to the boiler and mix it
- Let the mixture boil some minutes
- Mix in another container sugar and gelling agent
- Put mixed sugar and gelling agent into boiler
- When entire berry mixture starts to boil, let it happen about 1 minute
- Remove the boiler from hotplate
- If you see any foam on the surface of berryjam, peel it off
- Move hot jam into disinfected glass jars and close the lids
- Cool jars as quickly as possible
