3/4 cup of sugar
pinch of salt
1 3/4 cups of whole milk
2 beaten eggs
1 ½ cups of whipping cream
1 split vanilla bean.
- Combine sugar,salt,split vanilla bean and milk in saucepan.Cook the mixture over medium heat,stirring occasionally until mixture almost boils.Reduce the heat to low.
- Gradually stir about 1 cup of hot milk in to the beaten eggs.Add eggs to remaining hot mixture.
- Cook over low heat,stirring until slightly thichened,about 3 minutes.Remove it from heat and chilled mixture,stirring them with a wire whisk.Remove the vanilla bean.
- Pour the mixture into canister then freeze it in freezer.
